2012 Honda Civic Type R to be Turbo 2.0L
That’s right, according to Auto Express’s sources in Japan, Mugen Honda’s tuning department is well underway in the development of a turbocharged 2.0L four cylinder designed to comply with Euro V emissions regulations. The car is also rumored to be redone on the exterior reside with larger air vents (purposefully), a more sleek overall look, LED daytime running lights, and all the necessary OEM downforce equipment needed such as front chin spoilers and a good sized rear wing. Supposed to be a 5 door only says Auto Express. I just hope the rest of the world especially North America gets something turbo’ed from Honda. Either it’s a Si, SiR, Type S, Type R, whatever as long as it’s turbo’ed. :’)
